The New York Times 2.0
The New York Times 2.0

Overview

In a year long class I led, students were challenged to rethink how journalism could evolve for a visually native generation. Rather than redesigning existing pages, the class explored how news could function as an interactive, spatial storytelling system built around geography and narrative context.
I structured the curriculum from concept to prototype, guiding students with no prior UX background through research, narrative strategy, interaction logic, and execution. The resulting project, New York Times 2.0, was recognized by major global award platforms including Clio, One Show, and ADC, demonstrating how academic environments can produce industry level work when guided with clear creative direction.
